If you visit this website, when I draw up a quote or work on a linguistic project for you, the following data is being collected:

Collection of non-personal data:

It’s possible that non-personal data is collected for statistical purposes and to optimize this website for you. This data is collected automatically with the help of Cookies. If you do not want me to collect those short text files, you can adjust your browser settings accordingly. This, however, can lead to some functionalities of this website not being available anymore.

Collection of personal data:

When you contact me with regard to a potential project, be it with the online form provided or directly via email, some personal data necessary for the handling of the project will be collected.

Namely this is your:

  • First and last name,

  • Email address,

  • Address,

  • Bank details,

  • Telephone number;

 

How long is your personal data stored?

I will store our email exchange for two years after the payment of the last project has been received.

Your personal data will be stored for five years after the payment of the last project has been received.


Will your personal data be passed on to third parties?

If necessary, I will pass your personal data to my accountant.

Sometimes I will work together with other translators on your project. In those cases, I will not forward any of your personal data and all personal data in the text will be anonymised before the text is passed on.
